All over the world, people have been experiencing record high heat waves that threaten our most vulnerable communities. And it’s only going to get hotter unless we get climate change under control. But instead of listening to people feeling the heat, the Trump Administration continues to undermine our progress on climate change.

The goal of the rally is to show that we can beat the heat with a little bit of ice cream and fountain mist now, but we need to make our voices heard if we want long term solutions and real climate action.

Together, with local leaders in the fight for a clean energy economy, citizens will be raising their voices for climate action to show that Pennsylvanians demand real climate solutions, not the undoing of decades of hard work and life-saving environmental protections.

ABOUT SAVE THE U.S. EPA

Save the U.S. EPA is a national campaign being conducted by AFGE National Council of EPA Locals #238 in an effort to stop the Administration from putting the interests of the coal and fossil fuel industries above the American public; abusing taxpayer dollars; drastically cutting or eliminating jobs and programs that are vital to the health and safety of America’s air, water, land and endangered species; and undermining science and public health.
